Abstract
In 2004, the Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists gave its wholehearted support to the National Water Initiative and they still do. If the pre-1950s rainfall patterns continue, Australia is going to have to get by with a lot less water, a whole lot sooner than we thought. Australia must urgently accelerate the agreed water reforms.
