dc.description.abstractThe title compound, C13H14O4, displays a kinked conformation in which the hydr-oxy group is orientated over the furan-one ring. Mol-ecules aggregate into linear supra-molecular chains via O - H⋯O inter-actions, and C - H⋯O contacts link these chains into two-dimensional arrays. © International Union of Crystallography 2007.
