Abstract
This ouput is a SA Health Perinatal Practice Guideline providing clinical guidance to Midives and obsteric staff about the management of a Shoulder Dystocia at birth. Shoulder dystocia occurs following the birth of the fetal head when additional manoeuvres are required beyond routine axial traction to deliver the fetal shoulders during vaginal birth.
