Abstract

This paper examines work in progress in South Australian teacher training courses that attempt to build a design thinking/creative dimension into the discipline of D+T studies as it moves from a basis of skills and material studies to one promoting active opinion, interrogation and design decision making around a range of issues regarding the impact of technology on society.
