Abstract

Sonic velocities from the Danian Chalk, Upper Cretaceous Chalk, Lower Cretaceous Greensand/Gault Clay, Lower Cretaceous Wealden, Upper Jurassic mudstones, Triassic Mercia Mudstone, and Triassic Sherwood Sandstone have been used to quantify apparent exhumation in the Celtic Sea/South Western Approaches.
