Abstract
Despite the importance of unpaid labour in the volunteer workforce, volunteers remain a largely under-researched group. To add to the limited research, this project used a combination of cross-sectional and longitudinal data to investigate in seven studies the current working conditions faced by volunteers across several different volunteer organizations in Australia.
