Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to define optimal centrifuge operating conditions for inclusion body recovery. Special attention is directed to the interaction of the recovery step with upstream and downstream processes. A new Eschenchia coli debris sizing method, Asoc, is developed to overcome the limitations of existing sizing methods.
