Abstract

Everyman" was first performed in England a little under five hundred years ago. "Here beginneth a treatise how the High Father of Heaven sendeth death to summon every creature to come and give account of their lives in this world, and is in manner of a moral play. "Four Kiogens and a No". The texts have been adapted from A.L. Sadler's Japanese Plays (Sydney 1934), and we are proud to announce that Professor Sadler, now retired in England, has written to give his blessing to this production. "Les Precieuse Ridicules" (The Affected Ladies) is not the greatest nor wittiest of Moliere's plays.
