Abstract

Modern business enterprises are undergoing a basic change as the norms that have traditionally guided thinking about competition and success are being revamped. Knowledge-based organisations are expected to dominate the economy in the information age. These organisations focus their management processes on knowledge specialists who work within a team for a prescribed period of time in order to fulfil a project.
