Abstract
The aim of this project is to develop and implement a survey for the National Cervical Screening Program (NCSP). This survey will be used to better understand experiences and knowledge of cervical screening and to drive improvements to the person-centredness, equity, and cultural safety of the program, with emphasis given to culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. This report is the first of three reports (Reports 2a, 2b, and 2c) to be delivered in Phase 2 of the project. Phase 2 involves developing and refining the survey with input from project stakeholders and women from CALD and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds. This report (2a) describes the methods used to develop, test, and refine this survey for CALD women.
