| dc.description.abstract | For four years, the above date was a non negotiable entry in my diary. The previous Festival that I had attended in Samoa in 1996 had demonstrated what a Festival could - and should - be. I don't remember the journey home: perhaps I flew, perhaps I floated. Awash with pleasure and astonishment, my senses were "upright and saluting" and I doubted whether any Australian arts festival could possibly compete. | |
