This report examines the pollination services delivered to lucerne farming as a co-benefit to revegetation for carbon offset supply. It was carried out as part of the Goyder Institute for Water Research project, Assessing South Australian carbon offset supply and policy for co-beneficial offsets. The project seeks to understand the biophysical potential for carbon sequestration across South Australia (SA) as well as the economic constraints to this land use change. Carbon plantings have the potential to provide habitat for wild populations of bees, increasing their presence in the landscape and providing valuable aditional pollination services in the production of pollination dependent agricultural crops
