Abstract
In this thesis, different from the traditional photo-thermal materials, low-cost photo-thermal nanomaterials such as PDA and CuO based structures have been synthesized and utilized as the light absorbing materials. Systematic characterizations have been carried out and different photo-thermal applications such as solar steam generation, photo-thermal catalysis and photo-viithermal based sensors etc. have been demonstrated to evaluate their photo-thermal performances.
