The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between family friendly practices and the proportion of women in managerial positions in Australian companies. It will analyse whether the number of family friendly practices offered in organisations has a positive or negative association with the proportion of women in management. This information will be valuable to management; it will help organisations to decide whether to adopt family friendly practices or whether something else should be done to increase the proportion of women in management.
