Description
“The Magic Pudding” is a new opera for children by Calvin Bowman, with a libretto by Anna Goldsworthy, giving Norman Lindsay’s much-loved Australian classic “The Magic Pudding” a unique voice in an opera for children. It aims to make opera accessible to children, generating understanding for this genre amongst an entirely new generation. A narrator and children’s chorus are incorporated into this deft adaptation for the stage, designed to engage communities and children.
