Abstract
This ethnographic case study investigated how an innovative, South Australian senior secondary (Years 10-12) public school with a specialist science and mathematics focus, fostered a positive culture of belonging. Document analysis, observations, semi-structured interviews with leaders and teachers, focus group interviews with Year 10 students, and photo elicitation interviews with teachers and Year 11 students provided multiple perspectives on how a culture of belonging was pursued and experienced within this school.
