World premiere of new work by Constantine Koukias. World premiere of 'Lullabies and Crooked Dances' by Anne Cawrse (commissioned by the Festival). Australian premieres of works by: In Sun Cho; Mayke Nas; Willem Jeths; Sofia Gubaidulina. Plus works by: Tristram Cary; Henk Badings; Alfred Schnittke; Roger Smalley; Andrew Ford; Julian Yu; Isang Yun. Performers include Grainger String Quartet, Telesto Duo (John Addison, cello, and Tiziana Pintus, violin), Gabriella Smart (piano), greta Bradman (soprano), Trio d'anche Suave (from Japan).
