Rupture explores how symptoms of environmental and human 'disorder' can be seen as an appropriate response to personal traumas and global disaster. This relationship plays out across multiple screens alongside occasional moments of live performance, placing Barratt's body in direct conversation with extraordinary video footage of landscapes in states of transformation and flux.Item Metadata only PianoLab(2022) Goldsworthy, A.The piano is an instrument of illusion. In the right hands, it becomes a singer or an orchestra, tells us stories, and conveys us through space and time. In the intimate salon setting of The Lab, pianistic royalty from around the country joins the revered Elder Piano School for a series of immersive recitals across the genres of classical, jazz and contemporary music. A festival that defies boundaries, bringing the riches of the piano out of the concert hall and into the community.Item Metadata only Nocturne(2022) Goldsworthy, A.; Bower, H.This theatrical recital enacts a collision of music, letters, images and identities, set to a soundtrack of Chopin’s Nocturnes and other piano pieces.Item Metadata only Feudal positions and the pathology of contentment: sites of disconnection for Australian theatre actors(Centre for Performance Studies, 2015) Crawford, T.This article surveys symbolic sites of disconnection and disenfranchisement of actors, while holding connection and enfranchisement as crucial to wellbeing, and so suggests potential threats to wellbeing across the breadth of the acting challenge. The research leans upon both general and specific proximities: the first is my more than thirty years of experience as a professional actor, acting teacher, and writer in the field; the second, a period of observation of actors in rehearsal for four diverse though mainstream theatre productions in Adelaide, South Australia, in 2012, and interviews with those actors.Item Metadata only John Cage Day(2012) Whittington, S.Item Restricted The Virtuoso (recital)(Seraphim Trio, 2013) Goldsworthy, A.Item Restricted Piano Lessons (recital)(Musica Viva, 2013) Goldsworthy, A.Item Restricted European Premiere of Concerto for Viola and Orchestra, by Charles Bodman Rae(NFM Philharmonic Orchestra, Wroclaw, Poland., 2013) Bodman Rae, J.Item Metadata only NZSO-SOUNZ-RNZC Performance 2010(Sounz, 2010) Dollman, L.Item Restricted Psychedelic Rays of Sound(Art Gallery of South Australia, 2011) Whittington, S.Item Metadata only John Woolrich The Elephant from Celebes and Peter Maxwell Davies Symphony No.4(BBC, 2008) Dollman, L.Item Open Access Premiere performance of How Shall we Sing in a Strange Land(2012) Crossin, C.Item Restricted Restrung Sounds Unbound Music and Installation Festival(2012) Shaw, J.; Bentley, D.; Game-Lopata, J.; Kouvaras, L.; Macarthur, S.Item Metadata only World Premiere Recording of Voices of the Spirit(2005) Crossin, C.; Crossin, Carl Bryce DavidItem Metadata only World premiere recording of Requiem by Peter Sculthorpe(ABC Classics, 2006) Volmer, A.Place of Performance : Adelaide Town Hall Type of work : Concert works for chorus and orchestra Extent : 42 minutes
