Abstract

This chapter examines the role of Learning Management Systems (LMSs) in maintaining student engagement during campus closures. It discusses the benefits and challenges of using LMSs in such scenarios. The chapter uses a mixed-methods approach, including surveys and interviews with students and educators, to assess the nature and extent of student engagement through LMS technologies during campus closures induce by COIVID-19. The research identifies key strategies for leveraging LMSs to sustain student engagement during disruptions.
